A native
of southeast Asia and apparently
common in some areas. This is
currently one of the most sought after
new Selaginellas in the US, commanding
high prices when found. It does not
seem difficult to grow though I have
only had it for a short while.
The 4 plants I have appear to be
thriving. Apparently it propagates
readily from stem cuttings though they
are slow to become well rooted.
I have taken cuttings from my plants
and they seem to be doing well.
The mature plants are under shade
outdoors. The cuttings are being
kept in large plastic terraria until
well established and new growth is
obvious.
I may have some to offer in 2021
